Question Have Turbo Andls1 Live

How much would it cost me to get all this done to my Ls1 engine? forged crank, forged rods, forged pistons (9:1
compression), have the block fully studded and the heads o-ringed. is this what i need to do to run about 750rwhp safely on pump gas. what would you do to get your Ls1 ready for this kind of hp?

$5-7k in what you mentioned.. .depending on if they do it all or if you do some. And that can easily be a low or high estimate...you need fuel..perhaps ignition (Fast or Gen 7) etc.etc. A good 750 HP LS1 can easily be 20k in a car ready to handle it.

750 rwhp on pump gas you would need some displacement, I would build a 400+ cube motor 8.5:1 with a T-88 single, and about 15-17 psi. it should reach your goals.

my cousin has a supra and he is looking at upgrading to a large single turbo. i know the compression is 8.5:1 but how does there engines hold so much hp being stock. they can have up to 800rwhp on a bone stock engine. with a single T72 turbo he will be pumping out 750rwhp. thats not fair. and that kind of hp is really pretty comin for supra owners from what i hear.

Who cares about supras(No offense). Sure they can put down 600rwhp on the stock block and run 12's all day long. Bottom line, an LS1 with 500rwhp is going mid 10s all day long. Shoot, a 383 procharged injected C5 just went 9.7 @ 138 with less than 12psi. Who cares about Dynojet HP? Not I.

Sorry, not to hijack the thread, BUT, Phil, was that motor just charged or was it sprayed as well? I'd love to know the specs on that motor, as its very similar to the route I'm lookin at going. Thanks man.
