Default ATTN: People with 98 LS1's and 243 heads

Just bought a used pair of 243's and plan to mount them on my 98 t/a. I will be using GM head gaskets, and the stock rockers and springs. Do i have to worry about getting shorter or longer pushrods?

From what i have been told it depends on what they came off of. If they are LS6 they have longer valves needing shorter PRs. The ones i just bought are off a LS2 and the valves are the same length using stock length.

There are 2 different 243 valves, the upgraded one which are longer and the standard ones, only way to know is to weigh the intake and exhaust valves. But I have a 98 and put on 243 heads Milled to 61cc and with a GM MLS Gasket and hs rockers I needed shorter rods, but as suggested, buy the checker and measure, each application is different.
