500rwh h/c 346 guys please come in
I amlooking to do a n/a 346 with 500rwh.what set ups are proven ?just wanta do rod bolts & leave all else stock,will this work?i am runing ms3/stg 2.5 5.3's fast 92/92 now.it would be nice to have a lil more low end.loong for proven combos.thanks!

Here is the dyno for my CARTEK 4X setup, just like you want, stock 2001 ls1 bottom end with ARP Rod-Bolts, QTP 1-3/4" headers, TSP 3" Drue Duals, Fast 90/90, 42# injectors, EWP, 85mm lid & K&N
And unlike a lot of other "500 hp" H/C setups, this one has proven track results as well as a dyno sheet

its doable without losing ALL of the low end.. but you need enough rpm to make the 346cubes efficient enough to move that much air.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INFO!!!!WS6 TRANS AM I HAVE YOUR UTUBE VIDEO MARKED AS A FAVORITE, WATCHING YOUR CAR LEAVE IS SOOOO GOOD.ESPECIALLY THE SLOW MO WHEELS UP LAUNCH!JABER 9 I RAN ACROSS 1 OF YOUR POSTS THE OTHER NIGHT & WAS TRYING TO GET BACK TO IT JUST TODAY THAT IS ONE FINE T/A.I AM RUNNING MY SET UP IS IN A '72 SS CAMARO.13/4 MACS INTO 3" DR. GAS X INTO 3" 2 CHAMBER FLOWS WITH TURN DOWNS.CAR PUT 430 RWH AT THUNDER RACING WITH LS6 INTAKE T/R PORTED T/B.I HAVE SINCE ADDED A MEZZIER ELEC. WATER PUMP,FAST 92/92.AT TUNING SCHOOL IN DALLAS CAR PUT 432RWH WITH THE AD ONS PEGGING 109% INJ DUTY CYCLE.EVERYTHING I RESEARCHED SHOWED I SHOULD HAVE PICKED 25 TO 30 HP AT WHEELS WITH THE FAST 92/92.BOB TELLS ME I SHOULD EXPECT AN EASY 25HP PICK UP WITH BIGGER INJ A RETUNE & MORE TIMING .LOOKING TO UPGRADE HEADERS TO 1 3/4" STEPPED TO A 1 7/8" FROM BREWER REST.NOT ALOT OF CONV PARTS TO CHOOSE FROM FOR A 2ND GEN LS1.I JUST PUT IN MY NEW 42# GREEN TOPS & GONNA RETUNE.CAR HAS BEEN 11.53AT 118 WITH A 1.63 60'.ITS HARD TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT WHEN I DROVE IT DALLAS WITH 4:11'S & PULLED 25MPG AT 75MPH.YOU JUST DID NOT DO THAT WITH OLD SCHOOL CARB STUFF !!THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INFO IT WAS REALLY HELPFULL.
