"All Aluminum"
Hi, everyone.
One thing I've been wondering is whether "all aluminum" literally means what it says for these LSX engines. When they say that, do they literally mean that the entire engine is assembled with aluminum parts: pistons, connecting/push rods, crankshaft, heads, valves, valve springs, valve covers, heads, and all bearings and bolts?
Any clarification is greatly appreciated.

Ohh, OK. Thanks.
I was starting to think that everything was aluminum, and remembering how easily aluminum soda cans seized rubbing against itself, I held each prompt oil change interval a crucial thing. Not to say that I would deliberately push the limit, just glad to know it's not all made of aluminum.
So are the iron components consistent with each LSX engine? I recall coming across a statement saying that the crankshaft in the LS7 is a departure from previous designs being steel, but I wouldn't expect much emphasis just to differentiate steel from cast iron unless they were of an entirely different material.
