Default Can someone help indentify this ls1 cam?

Hi my friend has a ls1 cam with the following numbers on it ls1 3316/3317 hr114 , followed by t3809 on the bottom, he wants to find out what it is, please let me know if you guys have any idea thanks.

That looks to be a Comp Cams 236/242 .590/.612 114LSA.

That's where I got the information from. But those lobe numbers are listed under the regular XE and not the LS1 specific XE lobe chart.

Post a picture of that cam, or just check for a distributor gear at the back of it. Those lobe numbers are for a SBC.

Thats kinda weird, and it doesn't have a dist gear on the back at all.

Do you guys know if my friend can run this cam in a 6.0 truck? if so would it be an ok cam for forced induction or nitrous, and what kind of springs does he need for this cam ? thanks for your help in advance.
