Default My build...

Alright well I got my motor back and I'm ready to get this thing put in. But I'm also getting married this weekend So I'll mess with it when I can. My car has been down since March and I'm ready to take it out on a drive.

This is what I bought:

PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L heads
TSP 228R Cam (228/228 .588/.588 112 lsa)
TSP Hardened Pushrods
LS7 Lifters with LS2 Trays
In Motion Adjustable Single Roller Timing Set
TSP ported LS6 oil pump
ARP Rod Bolts
Gasket Set
Piston Rings
Main and Rod Bearings
Stage 8 Header Bolts
Century Stage 4 4L60.
Yank SS 4000 stall
42lb Bosch injectors
Harland Sharp Adjustable 1.7 roller rockers
UMI transmission crossmember
Prothane Motor Mounts
QTP Stainless Longtube Headers
TSP True Duals with Spiral Flows
GM Knock Sensors
GM Crank and Cam Position Sensor
ARP Flywheel Bolts
Hayden Transmission Cooler

This is what I already had:

Metco Lower Control Arms and Relocation Brackets
BMR Subframes
SLP Lid
LS6 Intake
Ported and Polished Throttle Body
3.73 Gears

Only two other things I really want and that's a Norris Catch Can and a torque arm. I'm gonna have some Triangle Speed Shop tune it since they are all of 3 miles from my house. So anybody think I'll notice a difference, lol, I better. Oh and anybody wanting to do this Texas Speed was a huge help to me but alas I didn't get a sticker from them, hint hint, they are sending me flywheel bolts so they could drop one in the box.

I have a question. What is the advantage of going to an LS2 lifter tray?

I didn't compare mine side by side but mostly I wanted new trays and most people said go with the ls2 trays.

For the cheap $$ it is a no brainer and they appear a little more sturdy to me allowing for less chance of lifter drop. If I had done the lifter tray mod I would only considered it on LS2 trays

Ok well I got back from Disney World expecting to find flywheel bolts at my house and no such luck. I call Texas Speed and my order had been overlooked, no big deal I had stuff to do. So they come in and apparently they're for an M6 and not a A4, the shoulder is too big. Apparently I should have said flexplate and not flywheel. Just my luck, oh well time to wait on more bolts now I guess.

Well I fired up the car today and holy crap it sounds wicked. I took some sound clips but it does no justice at all, not even remotely. Now just to get the brakes bled and then it will go get tuned. So far I'm extremely impressed with everything, would like to get it out of the garage and on the road so I can hear what the exhaust will really sound like.
