30 hp isn't to much to ask from a set of heads with a stock cam. What is the reason for keeping the stock cam?

I dont really have the money for the cam and everything else i would need to swap cams timing chain, oil pump etc and i kind of wanted a sleeper set up and i wanted to get a built tranny and higher stall (3600) before i swap cams

Cam would still be cheaper than doing the heads...

With that said, I've seen "head only" setups make good power with excellent streetability.

yea thats awhile, at least you know when to stop, ha i spun a rod bearing a few months back and went from a new crank and other minor things to a 383 stroker, heads/cam and all of my savings, it was so easy to do just a little more and a little more. and the car was my daily driver
