2001 ss engine bay fender well clean up

2001 ss engine bay fender well clean up At a car show and 01 ss had all wiring ect.on both sides of the engine bay fender well moved to undernath between the finder well and the plastic fender splash. Anyone done this and how hard is it to disconnect the wires and move. They dirilled a 2" hole in the finder well near the lower part back by the fire wall and came back in down below the battery. The plastic fender well was taken off and drilled the holes from the outside. Engine bay looked clean. thanks Steve
