Default Sealing intake rocker bolt..with what?

I have read blue locktite, teflon paste and high temp silicone. What did you use and why? What are the reputable shops using?

I use the blue loctite paste. Do not get the liquid, 95% of it comes right back out of the hole.

For years I used red loctite liquid and never had a problem, but since they came out with the paste (which is far superior) that is the ONLY thing I use.

I used the blue loctite liquid without issue. I like the paste idea though, have to check that out as I may be removing the rockers later this summer.

I just used high temp RTV on mine which is what my Jesel instructions called for. I wish I would have thought of the blue loctite gel - I had that sitting right here!

I have used GM Pipe Sealant and it works too.
You have to wait 24 hours before you start the motor.

Black RTV is gasoline resistant...I wonder if they're on to something. If you're in a hurry, cure time is less. Maybe it doesn't really matter what you use?

I use the fel pro thread sealant from the local parts store. It's just a white teflon paste from what I can tell.

I used thread sealing tape. Like the white tape you use for plumbing, but this is yellow and much thicker. You can get it at Home Depot. Its made for gasoline, kerosene, liquid propane, oil, etc. Curing time is zero.

Like JMF- JR ,ARP sealant or Permatex # 2 non hardening thread sealant.Small block chevys have been using it for head bolt threads for about 40 years now,and its removable.
