Default Pro-Magnum rockers, AFR heads valve adjustment

I don't recall anybody mentioning that they can't get their fingers in there to spin the pushrods. What are my options? Can I go by the feel of the adjuster nut? My fingers aren't big, I never had problems adjusting SBC valves.

If you are trying to get zero lash, I don't like the pushrod spin method anyhow as it is too subject to feel. I gently lift the rocker tip until the "tick" "tick" just disappears.

Once I get the clearance out of the rocker tip, the adjuster nut takes a little torque to go any further. Is that normal with the Comp 875 lifters? I am going for about 1/12th turn preload.

Not sure here, I had the Cranes. Is the poly lock loose in the adjusting nut? If it is in it may bind it up.

After checking all 16, I see that is just how they are. Thanks.

Were you able to adjust them?
