I too am interested in this cam for my trailblazer ss 6.0L with a 750 hp and gmpp carb intake in my 67 camaro with a T56. Would upgrading to 1.8 rockers help the top end flow of the cam enough to make it worthwhile? My car will not be drag raced, will be used in autocross.

Just from reading all of this and looking at the dyno sheet, it seems this cam performs and puts down better numbers than many of the more popular or bigger cams. I wonder why more people don't run it.

Bringing this back from the dead. I'm currently looking for a good used ASA for my 98 LS1 70 Chevelle swap. I'm running a completely stock LS1, Edelbrock VR Intake, QFT 750 mechanical carb, MSD 6010, mated to a Muncie close ratio 4 speed, and 4.10:1 rear gear in the old Velle. I like the 110 LSA on paper for carb use. Thoughts?

For anyone that is interested, we are working on a new high lift asa cam that will be just as easy on the valvetrain, just as quiet, and make more power. The cam can reuse stock prs also. The kits would be $515 just like our high lift hotcam package and use pac1218 springs.

The specs will look the same as the asa 226/236 .600/.600 110lsa. testing will show us if the 106icl like on the howards is a good fit, but likely that is way too much advance even for a carb setup. Esp when using this with large valve heads that are milled etc. it would likely be 110+2. More on that later.
No dyno numbers yet. We are looking for gmpp or howards asa cam results that are very recent as a comparison. 3 builds we have seen are all from a year ago or more and while the info is good (esp seeing the same torque dip in the graphs) we need a more current build.
It will use the 1218 spring and will be able to use the stock pr but you can also upgrade to a better rod also.

the high lift is the cam I will be running ( in fact all my parts will be coming from the ws6store ) for my 370 /821 heads as soon as I can tear down the short block. these guys have been a big help in helping me getting a game plan.
