I gained about 60 hp and 60 ft lbs of torque but that was with just some patriot heads, with the afrs you should be looking at gaining a little more than that.

Be more specific pls. You mean I will gain 60rwhp in combination with my cam headers exhaust set up?? Tony said between 30-40 rwhp!! Am I missing something. They are milled to 62cc though.

your expectations of 420 when everything is finished sounds about right. When you are done with everything listed it should be around that.

Congrats on the purchase! I've got some 205's milled to 61.5cc that will be going in over the next couple weeks. I've got a bit bigger cam going in though and shooting for 440RWHP. Probably have to flycut too but that's ok with me.

It's where you cut a small clearance into the top of each piston to allow the intake (or exhaust) valve to clear without hitting the piston. Optimum minimum clearance is 0.080" on the intake side and 0.100" on the exhaust side. Preliminary estimates show my intake valve clearance will only be around 0.060" but I intend to measure the clearance with the clay method to be sure. If it's really around 0.060" or less then I'll cut each piston by about 0.020" to have at least 0.080" clearance. It all depends on the cam and type of heads (milling the AFRs reduces your clearance between the valves and pistons) but running a bigger duration/higher lift cam reduces it even more.

420rwhp should be doable but that cam and intake will be holding you back especially with a shiny set of AFR's.
