i will be ordering a custom grind cam and i was curious if i should change my heads or not. my current mods are:

TSP 5.3L 2.5 heads, TR224 cam, LS7 lifters, hardened pushrods, AR 1 & 7/8 headers with their ORY, gmmg, vengenace ported fast 92, NW 92 throttle body, ATI 10% underdrive pulley, yank PT 3800 2.0 str, 3.42 rear, etc.

i want to go with a more aggressive cam so i will get a custom grind one made for my needs. i am not sure if i should change the heads or not. i would like to stay under $2000 on the heads and i WILL use the stock rockers. the main reason why i am considering changing the heads is because i will need to upgrade my valvesprings. i have the updated 918's on, and while they are fine for my cam they can't handle too much more probably. for me i wouldn't mind pulling the heads to swap them out and sell these. my car is full weight and i do not want to flycut. i won't get a cam made until i know what heads i will run so everything matches. for the money that the heads cost, it isn't worth it to me if i gain a tenth. i want to get a solid gain if i go out and change the heads. what does everyone think?

pointless if you are going to stay with budget heads. If you want better you are going to have to dish out 3000$.

thats what i was looking for. i didn't know if a set of "as cast" trickflows or anything like this would be better or not. what heads are you referring too that will be worth it for $3000 or so?
