Need help finding specs on this cam - PLEASE!! Hello, I recently purchased a 370 built for boost, and supposedly it had a "mild blower cam" in it, but the specs were unknown. So this weekend I removed the cam to get the numbers off it to try to find specs, but when I was reinstalling it I accidentally let the chain move on the crank sprocket, so the timing is off (I marked it in a stupid way, but still...). On top of the timing being off, I still can't find any specs on the internet. The numbers are
0967
2 05
8289
If anybody can find any info on this cam for me, I would appreiciate it. I need to degree it, but I can't find any info, much less who made the cam, on the net, so I don't have access to a cam card or anything. Thanks again

Sorry it took so long for the pictures - I've been working late all week and literally haven't had any time to touch the engine. I hope the pics are good enough, because they were taken with my ancient razr phone.

Yes, I've read that most of the truck cams have the 0967 number stamped, but I figured a few companies re-grind the factory cams, or the other company could've marked it 0967 so they'll know it's a truck cam. (Just throwin' out ideas here). What do the other numbers mean, then?

So I'm guessing the consensus is that I have a stock cam? I'm cool with that, but my next question is why would they (whoever built this motor) install a brand new stock cam? If you go all out to cnc the heads, install forged pistons and rods, why install a brand new stock cam? There aren't any wear patterns on the lobes or any other signs of wear - it looks brand spankin' new. That's the only thing that doesn't add up to me, so I'm a little hesitant to drop a few hundred $$$ on another cam without knowing for sure what cam I currently have installed.
