Default 6.0l block question for a friend

he is installing a 409 and the alternator bolt holes are different. What did you guys do to put it on?

Just drill and tap the block to add the extra bolt hole needed.

I will tell him that, But he said he had 3 bolt holes on the front from his 98 and 1 on the side and only 1 on the front and 1 on the side for the 6.0L block.
I bet he is gonna love drilling his brand new 408!

You drill the top outside hole, and leave that inside one out. It works fine.
