oil pressure issue

oil pressure issue since ive moved to colorado springs(da 7000 ftish) my oil pressure at idle is about 10-15 psi higher(normal was 35ish). when i get on it it jumps to about 70 psi. i talked to my buddy/mechanic about it he suggested switching to a lower weight oil. i have a predator tune currently and catback. any ideas as to what is going on?
