Default Bye GM water pump , welcome Meziere .. but which one !!!

Hello ,

my GM water pump need to be replaced .. so I'm thinking of Meziere .. but there are three types ..

Meziere Bolt On LS1-LS6 Pump - WP319R

Meziere LS1-LS6 Heavy Duty Race Pump - WP119RHD

Meziere LS1-LS6 Race Pump - WP119R

My car is only bolt-ons and may expose to some H/C in the next two months ..

Your advise and help

I just installed the WP319 - I believe that is the one you want!
It flows 55 gpm and the race ones only flow 35 gpm.

If you want to keep your heat you have to get the WP319R model, and also must have the "LS" on the pump not the "LS1" logo on it if you ever plan on going to a FAST 90/90 or bigger as the throttle will hit the top of the "LS1" style Meziere pumps, unless you just want to notch it later.

I've been running the WP319R model for the past 3 years. It has the "LS1" logo on it. It clears the FAST90 and NW90 without any problems nor notching.

So how do you know which one to order or should the place your ordering from already know the difference, because I've looked at the Meziere site and have seen the one with just the LS on it. Its looks the same to me. Just wondering because I'm in the process of getting an engine built and will be going with a FAST setup and don't want to run into this problem when I go and order my water pump.

wp319 here

came with the hose fittings that fit just fine.

not sure...but i'm pretty sure mine says LS1 on it...and it clears my FAST 90 just fine.

by the way, search for my write up on the install process...not a step by step as LS1howto has it. but i put some helpful hints and tricks that made it easier.

Get the street version, the race one. Is for racing with limited street used. The hd one is for 16 volts you have 12.
