Default Car won't start!!!!!!!!!!!

So here's my problem . . . . . . . I have a 99 Pontiac Formula. Everytime I go to take the car for a spin for about 30 minutes and turn the car off, it doesnt want to start again. I go back in the evening or morning and it'll start up no problem. Now when i go to crank it everything goes as its supposed to except it doesnt crank or turn over. Yes I made sure the terminals were tight, the security light wasnt on, and the car was in park. Had a buddy go under the hood to listen for noises and he said that when I'd crank it that the starter relay would make a clicking sound. So there I go to buy a new one. bought 2 new ones. 1 for the starter and one for the ignition. Slapped them in started it earlier went for another cruise, parked it, turned it off and tried to turn it back on . . . . . .NOTHING! WTF is wrong with this car? Someone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my guess is the ignition switch. it is under the drivers side of the dash and is pretty common. just mt thought and good luck.
