5.3L Main Caps in LS1?

Hmm...

i need some main caps for my next build...going to be doing a stock ls1 from the extra parts i got layin around...but i need some main caps...

anyone know if the 5.3L main caps are interchangeable with the 5.7?

i believe they will... they have the same crank so i dont see why not

You could, but you may need to align bore the mains, hone at the VERY least. They probably won't line up nice and round right off the bat.
