Default Crankcase Vacuum????

Doing my shift servos today and noticed that when I shut the truck off, and immediately pull the dipstick, a ton of air gets sucked in, like theres a vacuum in the crankcase. Also sucks air through the dipstick hole while running. Is this normal for an engine? If not, what could be wrong?

Did you modify stock pcv vent half of system? This is port on throttle body with hose going to pass. side forward port on valve cover. If this blocked off it would cause suction build up in motor.

Yes, In put a one way check valve in line so I wouldn't lose boost. What should I do instead?
