Default Comp Roller Lifters advatnages and installation

So what advantages would I have by switching my lifters to the Comp High Energy Hydraulic Roller Lifters?

It says that they are a high-performance replacement for stock as well as for racing. So where is the high-performance part of it?

I have a collapsed lifter so I am thinking I can just upgrade the parts rather than replace them.

Also, would I need to remove the heads to reach the lifters?

TIA

stick with the comps oem replacements or gm replacement lifters. i picked up my comp oem lifters from thunder when they had there sale for 178. installed them last week, and yes you have to remove your heads so figure in another 100+ in oem head bolts and gaskets too.

if you can swing it now i'd consider getting a cam too since it wont me much work to install it since you'll have the heads off anyway.

If you plan on staying within the 6500 redline parameter, the comp OEM are fine. Depends on your cam too.
