Check your oil level 5min after a hot shutdown, top up the oil so that the level is on the full line of the dipstick. Check it again after a week or two and if the level is down, you're losing oil, if it's not, then you're ok.
Just be sure to always check the oil on level ground, and be consistent in how you check it. If you check the oil cold on a cold morning, you'd get a different level reading than you would on a hot engine.
