Default Worth the extra $ to go to Patriot Stage II LS6 heads for agressive cam on my Z06?

How much more horespower would the stage II Patriot heads give me vs. my stock LS6 heads on my 03 Z06 when matched with an aggressive cam like LGMs G5x2 or TSP 231/237 cam, etc. Thinking about throwing in a bad azz cam and was wondering whether the extra $1,700.00 for the Patriot heads vs. stock LS6 heads are worth the extra money.I am thinking at the most they might net me an extra 20 rwhp but not sure.

THANKS!

Shoot me a PM. On Wed. we are doing a PP Stage 2 LS6 head install with a LPE 232/238 59X/59X 114 cam install.

This is on an 02 Z06.

We are dynotuning it afterwards, so I will be sure to keep you informed

I would think there should be about a 20rwhp gain over the stock LS6 heads, not to mention you'd get a boost in compression with the Patriot heads. Those heads with the TSP 231/237 cam is an *** kicking combo, I wish I had a Z06 to transplant mine into!!

Thumbs up

Hey Jim

I would have to agree with GOMER that you would see 20+ rwhp.
The G5X-2 or the TSP cam would rock with this setup. We would be glad to help you out.

shoot us a call or email and we can get you some prices together, we are the exclusive Midwest Patriot head dealer.

Larry

besides you could always sell your stock Z06 heads for a pretty penny to someone on this or any board.

I have a large cam with stock 02 ls6 heads & make 432 hp 407tq. I,m also thinking about the patriot heads. I,d really like to see some dyno sheets & track times on M6 cars with a similar set up.

You have to talk to Speed inc. Tom or Larry. They will set you up. Tom has tried alot of stuff on his Z06 with great results! I know how you are with your car, I am so picky with mine. They are the only ones I let touch on my car. Jim is the best. They do so many Ls1's it's crazy. BTW how the other MONSTER doing? Give me a call after you call Speed inc. 847-891-0767 my #630-531-5666. Andy
