Default ls2 stroker oil questions

so i had my ls2 stroker built up and i have been breaking it in like the engine builder sayed and he suggested i use a 10 w40 for the 'stroker' royal purple . i do live in the las vegas dry heat and it gets up to 130 degreese out here with driving around nevada cross country all the time. so guys what would you use in this heat ? ??

I would go castrol or rotella.

I have started using Redline 10w-40 here in Phoenix, per the recommendations of my builder.

ok its just crazy how many diffrent kinds of weights of oils are out there . . my car is liking the 10w40 royal purple i putin last week red lind is hard to gewt out here but i hear good things from drag cars to drift cars thanks for the replys..any other options ??
