Cam!!! Get a better oil pump too since it's a 98.

Just a H/C/I set-up and you're pretty much ready.

I agree with Maroon! I'd go for the cam. You've already got some good supporting mods for one...

My y pipes rubbing my crossmember now wthhh, but besides that (help if you can ha) what cam would you suggest and what parts to go in with it, I know hardened pushrods are a must but what else is necessary to go in, in order to not mess up the motor?

converter, nothing else will pick you up as much for the money except nitrous..

you need that before a cam anyways..

just dont go cheap, a converter will make or break and entire setup..

VIG, yank, circle D.. wouldnt even consider anything else. 3600-4k..

What he said ^^^ Your not ready for a cam yet, get a ls6 intake and a converter. Cam needs to breathe and the converter need to match your cam choice. When it is cam time, upgrade the springs, push rods, timing chain, and oil pump.

if it were me, i wouldnt put anything but VIG in my car..

its all preference though..

not too hard.. i wouldnt suggest it if you arent mechanically inclined though..

what do you want out of the car??

DD? weekend warrior? how big of a cam? are you going to spray?
etc etc etc..

a 3600 will work perfectly for just about any direction you want to go..

Yeah Im in college so sadly its my DD, which I hate making it a daily driver but.... I eventually want a mid sized cam and dont really plan on spraying anytime soon, I'm more about pure motor.

Thanks for your help! Ill probably end up going for it!

all motor, i would go 4k... no question..

you will love it..

although to get any traction what so ever you will need radials.

http://www.speedinc.com/catagory.cfm...y=Transmission
The TCI 3500 stall. $529.95
This converter is perfect. Same one I have and a very reasonable price. Never had a problem with it. Not the best on the market, but for a budget, it's very good.

i have only seen bad things with the TCI converters... personal experience.. there are many people out there with good experience though..

my thought is for about 200$ more you can get one of the best on the market..
