FWIW the "Cadillac" or "CTS-V" lifters were never really used in an ACTUAL street driven CTS-V. And also, the "lightweight" valvetrain parts are also shared by the C5Z in the fact that they had the same LS6 heads which contained the lightweight valves. There is no other "lightweight" to it besides the valves.

They were used in the GMPP racing engines that just so happened to be in the racing CTS-V BODY. That is why they are called the caddy lifters.

I REPEAT....the "caddy high rev/cts-v/high rpm/etc" lifters were NEVER used in an actual street driven CTS-V

So, which street model CTS-V had those lifters?

Essentially they should work fine with stainless valves and an otherwise basic springs/pushrods package, correct?
