Default Gm MLS Vs Cometic .040 compression

Ok I know theres a write Up but i really on CR but I really couldnt decide where my setup would be I have a stock 01 ls1 short block Im putting Stock Ls2 heads on it and Im trying to figure out what will be the difference In compression using the cometic .040 headgaskets vs the stock mls head gaskets .057-.059 compressed with the ls2 heads

BtW its going with a tr224 cam How much power will the heads be worth vs stock 241's

Aaron,

Can you run your program on my combo? My setup is LS6 with TFS heads milled to 60cc with Cometic .040 gasket. The only tricky part is that I flycut my pistons to a depth of about .100" on the intake valves only. Cam is 232/236 .595/.578 113+3. Not sure what my compression is now afterwards.

What is the diameter of the flycut?

I believe the Lindy tool had a diameter of about 2 1/8" - was oversized for the valve somewhat anyway here is a picture:
