I know its wrong to reuse the factory torque to yield bolts for the mains on an ls1, but in a low budget build what kind of power can they hold up to if they are in good condition?

Just get new ones, try to save on other things.

Torque is extremely critical on the bottom end. While they may appear to be in good condition, get some new bolts.

Not gonna hurt a thing to replace them but they're absolutely reusable. I reused mine and have spun it to 7600rpm.....

You guys know that LS have 6 bolt mains right, only 4 of them need changing, guess which?

I've been told by one reputable source they are reusable. I reused the ones in my LS2. The side bolts are suggested to be replaced due to the sealant that prevents oil leaking through the ears of the pourus maincaps (powdered metal).
