Default solid vs. hydro lifters

I can get a set of Morel solid lifters for about 200 less than their hydro ones and I was wondering if it is really worth it. I know you have to check the lash from time to time but is there any other considerations going from hydro to solid???

^^^Yep^^^ You will spend well more than the 200 bucks your saving with the lifters on getting the valvetrain to work with those.

they are right changing over would mean solid lifters, cam, and adjustable rockers. rockers alone would cost probably $400, then cam about same.

LS7 lifters way to go! 7000 rpm

well I haven't put the order in for the cam yet and I picked up a set of Jesel Y2k rockers, that is kinda why I am thinking solid at this point. I think the cam will still cost the same as I was going to spend
