Default MS4 cam pushrods?

I bought a set of ls6 heads and a ms4 cam used. they came with patriot gold double springs and what he said to be hardend pushrods. I got the pushrods and put them next to the stock ls1s. They look like they are identical. They dont have any markings on them, and they are the same length. Is there any way to tell the diffrence or are they stockers. If so what pushrods should i get.

your using ls7 lifters right??
you need to measure because ls7 lifters cup sits .060 higher then stock ls1

More than likely you will need a slightly shorter pushrod with the LS7 lifters. I've found that 7.4's almost never work w/ the LS7 lifter to achieve proper preload. It's been in the 7.3-7.375 range.

With the MS4 we typically sell 7.425" on cam only setups. With the LS7 lifters, I would look into a 7.375". It is definitely a good idea to measure to ensure the correct preload is found. Let us know if we can help with anything else!

So what would be the best lifter/pushrod combination for my build. I have two sets of ls1 lifters and pushrods. But i was going to buy better lifters, and pushrods for the application. Whats your oppinion.

LS1 lifter on a cam similar to an MS4 here no problems. My hardened pushrods looked identical to my old ones.

so what do you think i should do. Use the ls1 lifters with hardend push rods, or get better stuff. I also have ls2 timing chain that i could use, or i can buy an double roller timing chain. The motor is going to go through hell after the swap. I already drop the clutch at 6k at the track, and im thinking of spraying the car. should i put in the parts i already have or buy better stuff.
