Default motor popped, questions.

so my motor popped the other night. junked the block and junked the crank. and a few of the rods were scattered along the road. but i am getting a ls1 block, and ls1 crank. tsp stage 2.5 5.3 heads, tourquer v.3 cam, but i have the following questions:

what rods and what length(hopefully stock rods will do)
what pistons, and what rings, i want around 11to 1 cr. and will be spraying.
what bearings
and what kinda ring gap do i need to run for nitrous

Joe, sorry to hear about your car :-( How big of a combustion chamber will the heads have and what kind os gasket are you planning on running? That will have alot to do with the piston you choose. Also I normally gap rings for a boosted car about 0.005" - 0.012" over stock. Personally, I would rather burn a little oil in between changes than break a ring when I spray it.

You can get a descent rotating assembly for cheap already balanced. Pretty good route to go, and will be reliable.

the heads will be about 62cc, with 644 lift so i dunno how much relief u need for somethin like that. i want to be around 11.4:1, and use about a .040-.035 gasket, lemme know what u think
