Default stroking ls1 to 427

im just cruious can u stroke an ls1 to 427 ci with out modifying the block? i doubt it but i was wanting to know what takes to do this.

You need to resleeve the block MID and a stroker kit. The best place to do the block is RED (Race Engine Devellopment), they are the pioneers in that stuff and do an excellent job. However with the new LS7 and LSx blocks it is kinda going out of fashion.

very true predator. just as another option, i know you can take an LS3 block to 427ci alot cheaper than a LS7 or an LSX block.

I think you can also do a 427 with a LQ4 but its not done often and not reccomended by many people.
