Default mahle piston ring/engine build help
while we were putting together my shortbock tonight we started on the first piston compressing the rings, one of the oil scrape rings got caught just a little bit to bend it enough. We straightened it out but i dont feel comfortable enough putting it in.

The 7 other pistons went in perfect and seated/felt good.

Does anyone know if i can just one oil scrape ring from mahle for a 3.908 bore piston? or any reps on here?

nobody knows where i can order one oil scrape ring for a 3.908 bore mahle piston?

Call MAHLE MOTORSPORTS man and they can send you one! #1-888-255-1942(ask for tech) and reference ring package #3910ML-043 I believe. Good luck.
