Question LS1 CAMARO engine questions

Hi

I notice u can easily find mustang ud pulleys (3 pulley's) but u can get only 1 pulley for crank in camaro's! why that? is there are brands sell 3 ud pulleys which i dont know??

for example in this MARCH website link, which pulley's fit 98-02 camaro?? long water pump or short water pump?? or there's arent any??

http://www.marchperf.com/csb_pulleys.html

*Engine question:

-as seen in summit catalog, does TRICK FLOW ls2 kit will fit ls1 engine???

-Also does ls2 heads(575hp) and ls7 or after market gm lsx heads(680hp) will fit on ls1 engine??

-Is it possible to put maggie (magnacharger) on camaro engine? and how? which is best, FAST 98mm intake with full bolt-on or Magnacharger with full bolt-on??

-How can i know my car has power steering cooler??

Thanx

Forget Ford, welcome to Chevy's we do not need other than 25%

Long WP

Not recommended, the 228/230 LS1 combo is better for 346 cubes.

-Also does ls2 heads(575hp) and ls7 or after market gm lsx heads(680hp) will fit on ls1 engine??

L92/LS3/LS7 will not fit

LS2 heads will fit

Yes it is possible, but requires a lot of work and some custom parts.
There are 2 different companies offering kits. Search in Forced Induction forum and you'll find both threads.

No doubt adding a SC is better

-How can i know my car has power steering cooler??

follow the hoses from your PS pump. If it goes to cooler then yes, if it goes to steering shaft then no.

Thanx
Hi, no need to write so big we are not blind and on the net it is considered shouting and impolite (just for your info)

I know Muscat, I live in Dubai and I have been there a few times. Being an Arab you know that welcoming anyone is respectful and always welcomed.
That is why we say "Ahlan wa sahlan "
I said 25% underdrive is max we use to keep all electrical systems charging properly. When you underdrive the crank it slows down alternator and power steering functions. Slowing power steering is good, slowing alternator too much can have charging issues.

Some of the underdirve sets I have been looking at offer the 25% underdrive and also an overdrive for the alternator as a set of 2.

ما في أي مشكلة و أنا موجود اذا احتجت أى معلومات. شو اسمك الكريم؟

Yes you would only need the crank pulley. I use a March, it is one of the best for harmonic (crank vibration) control.
