I'll post the graph later today but it peaks at 5900rpms and makes some nice low end torque.

Sounds like a killer package in the making. With the C5R block are you planning to spray?

A big CONGRATS to an AWESOME ENGINE and great numbers. That BEAST is very similar to the MTI 427 C5R motor lurking beneath the hood of my 98 C5 Roadster. Your gonna love that TORQUE throughout the entire RPM band. My BEAST with the 4.00 lunati crank makes 100 more rwhp between 3500 and 4500 rpms vs. my old 427 iron motor with 4.125 crank!

WOW, impressive comparison...I was very close to going with the iron block 427 and saving big $$$, you just made my day . Your right, this thing is a beast yet very streetable.

pretty sure he has 1 3/4. I think he kept the same headers/exhaust from his 346 H/C setup.

Well, we should be doing a little more tuning later in the week on this car. I think there is still quite a few more horses lurking in the tuning. Look for a post later in the week for an auto 427ci build up we have done that is a mirror of this motor.

Yeah Mark I hope to be there next week to Dyno mine, I still want a few more miles on it before we go WOT, but this thing is a beast the Torque is amazing... at any time I can roll on the throttle and break the tires at almost any speed and I have not even been close to WOT yet The only problem I have had is all the attention I get around town with the cats out this thing sounds awesome and the lope is not bad enough to kill it but does a great job at turning heads at every light. Cannot wait to see the numbers we put down with the auto.

Matt

C5R 427
FLP lvl4 Auto
Moser 12 bolt 3:73
And all the other goodies that make up a Fbody to fear

Matt,

I'm running hooker cat-backs (no cats) and it's quiet at idle and just driving around...but at WOT it's

Look forward to seeing your #'s.

Ron
