what heads you running with the 228r?
ive been reading and reading on heads on this site but still not quite up to snuff with how to select heads to match with a cam. my car will be somewhat a daily driver in the warmer months of the year. im looking for around 410-440 ish hp range. so any advice on a decent set of heads to match for this cam would be great. thnx!

im doing a rebuild actually. although most people would probly say to go brand new for the money ill probly spend my block only has 78000 miles on it. i spun a bearing so just wanna get the bottom end fixed or replaced and put in a h/c package when it gets put back together. i was thinking 2.5 5.3 heads with this cam?

Had a car leave here a few weeks back making right at 440 to the tire with the PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 heads. I personally would consider the PRC 2.5 LS6 heads, or maybe the PRC 215 heads if funds allow. They 215s will cost right at $2000, but you get a aftermarket casting head with thicker decks, & awesome chamber/port design that wasn't limited to a what fits in a factory casting.
Also dont forget you can get cheaper prices than on the site if you use your existing spring kit!!!
