42lb injectors are kinda big for a NA 346. My 418 has 42lbs injectors and they're not even close to being maxed out.

If you didn't give texas speed the 42lb injector spec the tune will be way off. You probably only need 30lbs but step number 1 is get it tuned - black smoke means your fuel ratios are way off - and not only is it robbing power but it's not good for the engine.

Its in the tune. I have SVO 42's in my car, no black smoke. Really need to get it tuned with a wide band O2 sensor.

Mail order is going to be a little on the rich side to play it safe. Dont want to lean it out.

Since you have SVO injectors they are 42lbs at 43psi.

i figured that i need a tune but the closest place from where i live is speedinc which is 6 hours away, and the way i see it drive 6 hours for a tune which could cause my car to crap out. that 6 hours is to far away in case something happens.

Call TSP, see what they say. See what software they use. Maybe you can find a local to do some data logs with a wideband and send them to TSP to correct the tune some.

Basically they should need throttle position, rpm and wideband o2 reading. They should be able to work with that.

Really your best bet is to call TSP, see what tuning software they use. Then locate someone local that can log it for you and send the file to TSP.
