Default Truck motor questions

Are 5.3 rods the same length as 6.0 rods? Can you use 4.8 pistons with 5.3 rods and crank in a 5.3 block?

WOW you are looking to build one hell of a bastard motor! I don't belive that any of it will work. I might be wrong but I don' think so.

Yes, the 5.3, 5.7, & 6.0 rods should be the same length. The diameter of the 4.8 pistons is the same as that in the 5.3. The compression height is also within a couple thousandths so you should be able to use them with the 5.3 rods/crank. They should increase the compression ratio versus the stock 5.3 pistons. That said, you will still need to check all clearances (as with any engine build).
