Default best engine for a 6.0 build?

Which engine would you use to start a engine rebuild from a core long block.
I plan on spraying it hard and iron block sounds fine but which block is best LQ9? or does it not matter. Or would it be best to buy one from a spondsor on here? Thanks

makes lot more sense to get engine that comes alredy with stout parts, if u plan on hitting it with a large dose of n20 or turn som rpm. alot of sponsors here carry some capable engines

u might as well get away with as many ci as possible, a 427 is better than a 408. click link in my sig,
engines built with callies crank and rods. callies quality is top of the line

I have 02 ls1 from my trans am ws6, full boltons, buget is limited, but I think about 6,000.00 maybe more. I can rework the heads I have but they are 241's. I need it to be very streetable. The car is a A4,3600 stall,3.73's. TA,LCA,SB,sub frame connectors. I sell n20 so getting nitrous is easy for me and I love it. does this help?

Just do a forged bottom end. It can handle plenty of n2o. then you can probably squeeze in some good heads and a nice custom cam, maybe maybe even get away with a direct port system.
