What is the biggest cam that would pass emissions?

What is the biggest cam that would pass emissions? I have heard from a bunch of sources that certain cams will pass emissions and some wouldn't. My question is what is the biggest one that would pass? A bunch of people say that the 224 is the biggest, while others say that everything depends on the tuning of the cam. Well if i get a G5x2 or similar size cam with long tube headers and keep cats on the car, will this pass? By the way any real results would be appreciated.

depends on what kind of emissions test you have. here in cali forget it; with visual and sniffer your **** out of luck. if you just have the OBDII test you should pass no problem. no way a g5x2 is gonna pass the sniffer no matter how good a tune. its just to ****** big.
224 114lsa has passed cali smog clean so if it passes here your good to go anywhere else. the 224 112 should pass with a good enough tune. once you go bigger you increase the risk of failing. here at least. your best bet is to find out what people in YOUR state are running and gauge from there.
