Which Wiseco part number will you be running? That will tell the story as to which length you need. Most of the Wiseco's are setup to be a good bit in the hole with the stock or 6.100" rods whereas the 6.125" will be about zero deck at 9.235-9.24".

Let us know which number you're going to run and we can get you set up with a rod that will work for you

I believe those had he same compression distance of 1.304" like the new K392X piston does. With a 6.125" rod, your piston will be zero deck at 9.24" (typically that puts you .005-.010" out of the hole on an iron 6.0L block). The 6.100" rod would have you zero deck at 9.213" (way in the hole on your block, unless you deck it quite a bit).

We've got some great deals on 6.125" rods. Let us know if we can help!

Even on boosted applications, I'd prefer not to have the piston in the hole .020-.025"...so I'd go 6.125!

No, even the stock LS pistons, for the most part, are out of the hole .005-.010". The same goes for many aftermarket pistons too.

You can't run those pistons with a 4" stroke crankshaft! It is setup specifically for the stock (3.622") stroke crank. If you tried it, your pistons would be out of the hole close to .080"!

what about if the block is decked? would it be better to use the 6.100 rods?

No good. Even with a 6.100" rod and 4" crank, you'd be out of the hole .164" with a 9.24" deck height. Wiseco does make great pistons for the 4" stroke combos though!
