Patriot heads are really good heads for the money. You can spend more but they are a great bang for the buck.

My set seems to be pretty nice. Theyre not on the car, but as far quality of port work goes, they look good.

Of course theres always room for improvement.

If you can afford it AFR's or Trickflow kick ***.If you are on a budget you really can't beat patriot heads.Everybody that I have talked to that have Patriot's,love them.Prc's are also good on a budget too.

x2. For a budget head they are nice. I had them on my car when running a STS turbo. There are definetly "better" heads (Trickflows come to mind), but those are considerably more expensive. BTW, my HP #'s with Patriot LQ9 heads (9.0 to 1 CR) are in my sig.

I can't complain... bolt on M6, F14, PP LS6's milled to 59cc netted me 434rwhp/396rwtq SAE through Ram Twin Disk and 10bolt with 3.90's. On a 130rhwp shot it made 564rwhp/585rwtq SAE. Slipping the clutch to a lazy 1.86 60' I ran a 11.13 @ 130.9mph. Only weight reduction was spare/jack and rear seat.

Hope that helps

oh, the heads flowed 298cfm after being milled on PP's bench. I could post up the flow sheet if you need.

Does anybody know how much of a gain you might generally see between the regular heads and then heads that have been worked a little. Im not really sure what is involved when heads are "worked".
