I have a 230/236-112 (on Comp XE-R lobes) in my car which sounds similar to that cam. It pulls hard from around 3000 on up to the shift points at 6200/6300...would pull the 6500 no doubt.

I have no #'s for you but its very driveable around town.

Hope that helps some.

I have a 231/237 cam in my car, I have stock ls1 heads with hardend pushrods, 918 springs, and titanium retainers. My car makes ok power; 390 RWHP I cant remember the peak RPM(I only have a cam and some bolt-ons). It is an old profile, It started the "my cam is just a tiny bit bigger than your cam" wars. It should work great with those heads too, I think you will see a slight bump in compression with the 5.3 heads. Do a search and there are proabobly a million more details.

Have a good one,
Aaron

It is a great cam makes good power. My car made 436 hp. It can be a little rough on the street but managable.

I have this cam and like you mentioned its a outdated but its worked great for me. I also have stock heads with all the bolt ons and some nitrous. I dynoed a while back ago didnt make alot of power IMO 373 rwhp if I remember correctly. That was with the verter UNlocked and a loose *** vig. 4000 and 3.73's. I shift at about 6800 rpm and it still making power. Hope this helps....
