Default The proud pappa of a 400+hp lil' boy!!

Well, he's done! Just drove home from the garage with my "new" SS. 'Lil nervous tho, got the misfire code right away, and the car is surging and bogging during acceleration. I expect to have some problems right out the box because I haven't had it tuned yet, but are these conditions anything to worry about?
Now the specs:
Patriot Stage II 5.3L heads
Comp Cams 224/228 112LSA cam
LS6 intake manifold
Granatelli 85mm MAF
ASP underdrive pulley
SLP intake lid
K&N filter
I've got 3 tunes as part of the package from LS1Speed, Inc., but I want to get it on a dyno first to get a baseline b4 I ship out the PCM.
Let me know what you think

sounds good, be sure and let them know you have a 85mm GMAF, you should make well over 400rwhp after a good tune.
Good Luck with it!!!!

How does that cam sound, does it have a nice lope to it? When are you planning on going to the dyno? I would think it should make anywhere from 420-430rwhp, anyways post the numbers when you get it dialed in, good luck.

I agree with the above statement that whe properly tuned you should be making between 420 and 430 rwhp! BEST OF LUCK!!!

DAY TWO with Junior:
Drove to the garage to re-install my Y-pipe. Fergot my cell phone (duty agent this weekend) so went back to the house. On the return trip to the garage, the SES lite went out!! After installing the Y, went for a drive. 'Lil boy's got some serious ***** now!! Went redline only once and it pulls like a turbo!! Still got a stumble when coming down on revs to idle tho. Tuning should take care of that problem. Now, I just need to find a tuner out here in Hell Paso!!
