Default Block/Displacement Questions

I'm having doubts about my current 5.7L block...I've found the 5.3 and the 6.0 iron blocks to be very inexpensive, and since I'm running nitrous already, either would be a stout choice for my build. My questions are:

Would the crank, rods and heads (and pretty much everything else) swap onto the 6.0 block? I know the pistons would have to be changed, but should I see an increase in power with the bigger bore, or will it cancel itself out with the fact that I'm putting internals from a smaller displacement motor? On that note, would it be smaller than 6.0 and larger than 5.7?

And what about the 5.3?

Or should I just find another 5.7 and call it a day?

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!!!!

The crank, rods, and heads will all interchange on the 6.0 motor. I'm not 100% on the 5.3, but I think it will also. But, I'd definitely go with the bigger cubes. The only downfall is the 6.0L block is iron and weighs quite a bit more than the aluminum 5.7. If you could, find an LS2 block. Lighter and more cubes. Plus, great platform for later stroker kit to 402 cubes.

Other than that, a 5.7L should be fairly cheap to find. Stick to 2000+ blocks. Also, remember 2004 GTO's had the LS6 block.
