Default Oil question

I have a Ls1/Ls6 that has some mods to it. Was wondering what the best oil to use for it would be?

Its got the AFR LSX 205cc Heads w/ 66cc ported chambers
A thunder racing custom cam 230/236 .592/.602 112 +4 LSA
LS6 intake
among other mods.

What would be the best oil type and viscosity to use with this set-up

Search is your friend, but I think the general consensus around here is Castrol Syntec-Made in Germany 0W-30 or at least that's what I run.......

I'm a fan of Valvoline SynPower. Pretty much any Mobile 1, Castrol Syntec, etc. should be just fine.

And I guess I"m partial to 10w-30 myself, especially in the summer

Well I have had real good luck running redline 10w30 and have seen 7400 several times, and always shift at 7100-7200 rpm. Hundreds of passes, 67,000 hard miles...
