title says it all plus i am running 4.10 gears. What do you guys about this cam for a street/strip performer with stock LS6 heads on my 03 z!

THis MM2 cam 228/234 607/598 100 + 2 is powering a texas A4 vette with stock cubes into the 10s consistently with just a CAM and bolt ons and 3.90 gears!

I think that you'd be better off with the G5X2 as we discussed. It would probably produce more power and idle/drive better. That 110+2 is gonna be very choppy, to say the least. (There is an video clip on here, somewhere, too choppy IMO for a daily driver) The extra duration of an X2 would be "hidden" in the wider (112) LSA, IMO. (Or, the best of both worlds, G5X2 or G5X3 on a 114)Good luck either way, either is gonna seem weak compared to your 427, though.

From what I've seen it seems like a good cam, but if you didn't want a valve spring killer that .607 lift on the intake is pretty steep. You'll need some really good springs. Be careful not to get springs that have too much pressure for the stock lifters though (like 977's) unless you're willing to upgrade to Comp R's or similar.

Jim, I think that cam would get old real quick for street driving (110 lsa? ) For your car I would think something like a TR224, or similar cam, will make you much happier. Personally I not a fan of thoes monster cams (G5X2-3) for daily drivers. JMO

BEST OF LUCK!!!!!

ps-Are you planning to run all year on sundays weather permitting at US-41. TODAY< would be a PERFECT DAY to make max. power and ets if one could hook with the 39/40 degree day in CHICAGOLAND!

I was planning on it, but they are closed today due not being able to keep the track dry because of the melting snow. The DA was pretty good today too.
