Default Valves hitting pistons?

Well ive had a issue for awhile and cant figure it out, so hopefully you all can help.. Whenever I start my car up on a cold start, it sometimes trys to die, seems like its starving for timing. Well it will almost die and rev up itself and or ill tap the gass a couple times. It will make a noise that sounds like a tap and a slapping-clicking sound, its farely loud. I first thought it was the throttle cable, but it doesnt seem like it. its got louder over the past month, and ive had this issue for around 4 months. I have also been spraying my car with having this issue. On warm start ups it usually doesnt make that sound and it never does when driving or going WOT. If it was pistons and valves hitting would I have some major damage by now where my motor wouldnt be working? Also I thought maybe it was a bad motor mount, but i dont really know. I put my car on the lift and jacked each side of the motor up, and it really didnt seem to move. Is there a better way to check that out? I also think maybe I could have broke a valvespring I have dual patriot valves springs and maybe I broke one of the springs. Any help you can give id really appreciate it thanks.

this is a nitrous car correct?

Does it only do it on a cold start?

Im thinking a ringland and/or piston slap..... or just valvetrain noise (seems to be alot louder till oil warms up)

what cam are you running? wouldn't think it would be a spring if you are running duals...

Yes, it is a nitrous car. only a 100shot but it has been sprayed a lot. It will do it on warm start ups also not as often though. The car has idling issues sometimes and when it struggles to start is when it makes the noise most the times. It for sure isnt piston slap, its a pretty nasty noise. I am only running a 224/230 591 lift 114lsa cam, nothing big.
