Default Any sponsors sell an open link timing chain?

Am looking for an LS2 open link timing chain. Open link meaning a single chain strand that I can wrap around the sprockets & then connect w/ a locking link. This type of chain would eliminate the need to pull the oil pump for installation. Dropping the oil pan, messing w/ the pick-up tube, o-ring & related oil pump connection is far too much hassle for a simple chain upgrade. An open link chain w/ a locking link would do nicely.

not sure a "master link" being responsible for keeping the valves off the pistons sounds like a good idea. i agree it would make the swap easier but not worth the risk IMO

I knew a comment like that was coming. The master link can be stronger than the others, easily. There is zero risk.

I'm gonna make my own. Will post if it ever fails. That LS2 chain is a great upgrade & I will also be adding a dampner to keep it tight & to keep the chain from snapping on a quick load. As long as the connecting link is locked well, it should work great. The engine will also be making close to 500 BHP. So, it will be a good test.
