got a really bad knock. tried the stethascope trick and it was really loud when i put it on a motor mount..... checked valve train looks good, oil is a little dirty but doesent have any metal in it. no misses. im really hoping its a lifter but i dont think so. mostly bummed cause i just put this motor in last winter. oh well maybe its just the rotating assembly and didnt affect the block and i can get a 408 out of it
